The Kitchen Table

Comfortably seating up to 12 guests.

Stepping away from the traditionally formal ‘chef’s table’ concept, our kitchen tables offer the unique opportunity to watch the theatrics of the bustling chef’s pass and open kitchen from a serene distance - providing a private dining experience, but still within the realms of the restaurant’s social setting.

Guests at our chef’s tables are welcome to dine from our A La Carte or Chef's menus, or alternatively, we can work with you to create a bespoke menu that is tailored to your guests’ palates - be it a series of small, taster plates, or a sumptuous seven course banquet.

Following a consultation with our Head Chef, Kyle Jordaan; our Front of House manager Grantley White will be on hand to recommend the best wines to complement each dish, meaning that your dining experience can run smoothly and uninterrupted on the evening, as it’ll all have been taken care of.

GROUP BOOKINGS & VENUE HIRE

Renovated and reopened to the public in 2013, the large windows and high ceilings of our Picture House Room help to create a light, open and airy space, whilst still acting as a serene antidote to the the hustle and bustle of Whiteladies Road.

Comfortably seating up to 60 guests Monday to Thursday, the rustic butcher-block tables can be laid into long banquet-style formations for a relaxed social gathering; or alternatively, with a simple swoop of a pressed linen tablecloth, the room can be transformed into an elegant dining hall, fit for a more lavish event.
