Although sad not to come away with the top prize, we're ever so pleased to have been 'highly commended' in the Best Steak category at this year's Bristol Good Food Awards.

As well as being nominated to pick up the "Best Steak" award, We were especially honoured to also be nominated in the "best supporter of local produce" category. As we're sure you're aware, we go to extraordinary lengths to source each and every product that reaches the pass in our kitchen.

Sourcing meat direct from West Country farms through our own Butchers provides us with the unique opportunity to not only trace the meat we use from farm to fork, but it also means that we're able to better support local breeders, farmers and producers - and despite not clinching the award this time, we will of course continue to do so.
